Using Their Tails

It is not a secret that a dog wags their tail when they are excited and happy. However, it can also mean submissiveness if they hang their tail down. If you see a dog doing this, show them some love, affection, and security. Wagging their tails high, however, means they are playful and alert!

Dragging Their Bum

You might think it is funny when you see your dog dragging their bum, but this is actually a cause for concern. This behavior is called scooting and dogs often do this if they are suffering from an impacted anal sac and they want to release it. There are specific dog breeds that suffer from the condition at higher rates. Since this can be quite uncomfortable, make sure to immediately bring your dog to the vet.
