Sniffing Around
Did you know that while humans have five million olfactory receptors, dogs have 220 million? Clearly, dog noses are superior to ours and dogs can smell better than we can by at least one thousand times. When dogs sniff around, they are either tracking prey or sensing danger, and they will keep still and silent as they do this. Dogs can also smell the difference among people or individual dogs – they can even smell the difference between identical twins!
Flipping Up Tongues
Dogs might stick their tongue out and flip it up if they think they did something wrong. They feel guilty and apologetic, and it might be their way of showing an innocent face. It is pretty much impossible to stay mad at such an adorable face. You can expect to see this look if they pee on the floor.
