This is a half-scale model of the Ultra Heavy-Lift Amphibious Connector, the newest member of the tracked amphibious landing craft lineup of the Marine Corps. Sometimes referred to as the “combat paddleboat,” it has thrice the cargo capacity and twice the range of the biggest hovercraft ever made. A single UHAC is capable of taking two M1 Abrams into “hot landing zones” in a single trip!
