Douglas A-4 Skyhawk
The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk was designed to replace the United States Navy’s A-1 Skyraider. Ed Heinemann, the Douglas’ principal designer, came up with a small yet effective airplane. The engine is in the fuselage, the fuel is in the wings, and the avionics are in the nose. This little bomber was dubbed “Heinemann’s Hot Rod” by the navy. The first time it was utilized was at the end of the Korean War.
Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG 21
The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG 21 was first presented in 1959 and has since proven to be a reliable fighter in a variety of battles. It was primarily used by the Indian, Soviet, and Libyan air forces, and it was the first Soviet aircraft capable of successfully completing both combat and interception missions. Some countries still use it, and it once held many records. It was, for example, once the world’s most produced supersonic aircraft.
