When this show was still on the air, it was all about discovering new talent and giving them exposure or cash prizes in exchange for competing. The truth was that the producers had swayed the vote, unbeknownst to the judges and contestants. When the winner’s name was announced, everyone became enraged. It’s also been suggested that the show skews good performances in order to make them appear bad.

Donald Trump was reintroduced to the public thanks to this reality show. The plot revolved around a group of celebrities and businessmen who were being interviewed for a job at the current President’s firm. For dramatic effect, the firing scene was obviously added and scripted. Before they filmed the scene, the contestants already knew they were going to be fired. Perhaps the worst aspect of the show was that the winner received no actual prize other than bragging rights.
