Fredrik Thordendal
A Swedish musician named Fredrik Thordendal is most known for being the lead guitarist and backup singer for the extreme metal group Meshuggah, of which he is a founding member. Together with Marten Hagström, the rhythm guitarist for Meshuggah, Thordendal was listed among the top 100 greatest heavy metal guitarists of all time by Guitar World.
Mike Campbell
Campbell played lead guitar for Tom Petty for more than 40 years and has a keen understanding of what makes a song work. He never adds too many notes to a song. In addition, he performed with a variety of musicians as a session guitarist. For Fleetwood Mac’s 2018–19 world tour, he even took Lindsay Buckingham’s spot as lead guitarist. As a member of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, he was admitted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002.
