The Special Olympic Games are not the only philanthropic organization that Nadia and Bart are involved in. They actively take part in the Muscular Dystrophy Association, which provides research and services for neuromuscular disease patients.

Nadia’s Clinic
Though Nadia and Bart do a lot of volunteer work together, Nadia also does a fair share on her own. For example, she opened the “Nadia Comăneci Children’s Clinic” in Bucharest, which provides free or subsidized medical and social services to Romanian children.
