Because such a feat was unprecedented in Olympic history, there were one or two little hiccups. Omega SA, who made the digital scoreboards used by the Olympic Games, had failed to program the boards to be able to display “10,” believe such an accomplishment to be impossible. Instead of “10”, what was displayed was simply “1.00”. Nadia, her coach, and the crowed stared at the display, puzzled, before they realized what the score actually meant.
