An American Werewolf In London does what most horror comedies almost always do unsuccessfully. This film combines legitimate scares with genuine laughs. Actor David Naughton transforms into one of the most terrifying werewolves ever seen on film. This genre is difficult to conquer but director John Landis manages to do so perfectly.
