For Campbell, this new home is both an ongoing work in progress and a functional home at the same time. It is true that the shower is a makeshift one he made on his own, though he also restored several original features of the airliner. He worked hard to restore the functionality of the LED lighting, the lavatory, the flight stairs, and some of the seats. We bet you want to see what the airplane looks like now!

Opening His Home To Others
Once you enter Campbell’s airplane home, you will notice that it makes use of the original folding stairwell. You got that right – going into his home emulates the feeling of boarding the Boeing 727! It is not at all very different from hopping onto it when it was still being used as a passenger plane.
