Though her appearance in the 1966 movie One Million Years B.C. was not Raquel Welch’s debut role, it turned her into a pop culture icon, and her epic fur bikini probably helped her achieve the status as well. She also starred in Bedazzled, Bandolero!, and 100 Rifles. Aside from these projects, she has also appeared in many others, such as the film Legally Blonde.

Rita Hayworth used to live and dance in New York but at the age of 10, she and her family relocated to California. In the 1930s, the star appeared in various dancing movies before she went into more serious roles when the 1940s rolled in. Unfortunately, the next decade was difficult for Hayworth owing to personal issues like problems with money and alcohol. For many years, she suffered from Alzheimer’s disease and she died in 1987.
