Sharon Tate
Sharon Tate had always been praised for her natural beauty. Her impressive performance in doing both comedic and dramatic roles on the big screen made her a promising newcomer. She got married to The Fearless Vampire Killers director and her costar Roman Polanski in 1968. Sadly, she was one of the victims of the murderous Manson family and died while eight months pregnant.
Ingrid Bergman
Swedish actress Ingrid Bergman was launched to stardom when she starred in Casablanca opposite Humphrey Bogart, but she actually had already been acting in Swedish and German movies since the ‘30s. Her international appeal was incredibly wide and a biographer described the actress as “arguably the most international star in the history of entertainment.” Anatole Litvak, a director who worked with Ingrid Bergman, said this about the star: “Through all her troubles she held to the conviction that she had been true to herself and it made her quite a person.” She succumbed to breast cancer in the year 1982.
