The Diagnoses
In 2017 Beth was diagnosed with stage II throat cancer that spread to her lungs within one year. Her condition worsened and she was put in a medically induced coma in April of 2019, and ultimately passed away 2 months later. This was devastating for Dog but he held her hand until the very end.
Dog Can’t Catch A Break
Most recently Dog was involved in a scam of $430,000 where the perpetrators were targetting victims dealing with grief. However, his literary agent, Alan Nevins, said that Chapman always kept his sense of humor.
