Schwartz’s idea for the show had once been threatened by the producers of the Yours, Mine and Ours. The producers of the said show claimed that Schwartz plagiarized their show! Schwartz had to show them all the notes and ideas in his original outline for the show that dated a year back. The producers appeared to be back off after this, and the show went on.

After the last season wrapped up in 1974, the reruns for the said show started in 1975. From there, people all over the world started to stay tuned in to the The Brady. Apparently, there has not been a day where the show hasn’t been on air somewhere in the globe!
