He also used personal traits and hobbies of the cast and crew members. An example of this was when Greg Brady played music in several episodes. Yup, he based it on the fact that Barry Williams played music in real life.

This one is an interesting fact. Did you know that Eve Plumb was seriously considered to play the role of Regan in The Exorcist after she auditioned for the role? While she was filming for the show, she decided to try out for the horror classic. Unfortunately for Plumb, she wasn’t able to get the role. Nonetheless, fans were kind of happy. It would have been much more difficult to look at her as Jan otherwise!
