Anne With An E is based on the 1908 novel Anne of Green Gables and was successfully adapted into a Canadian drama series. The plot follows Anne Shirley, who is an imaginative and strong-willed orphan. When she is sent sent to live with elderly siblings on Prince Edward Island, she transforms the lives of everyone she encounters. Following the success of the second series, thankfully for fans, Netflix has commissioned a third series to premiere in 2019.

The coming-of-age Netflix series Atypical first debuted in 2017. It focuses on 18-year-old Sam Gardner, who is on the autism spectrum, and tells his overprotective family that he wants to start dating, which ultimately effects everyone around him. The second series, which delves deeper into the subject of autism, was received well by critics, so fans will be happy to hear that Netflix has renewed it for a third series.
