Marvel’s Daredevil was adapted by Netflix into a hit US web TV series and premiered in 2016. The plot follows a blind lawyer who fights crime by day in the courtroom and uses his extra superhero powers by night as the Daredevil. After three hit series, the show was renewed for a spin-off series, The Punisher in 2018. However, after a successful run, Netflix decided not to renew the series for a fourth season.

Iron Fist

Another Marvel adaptation for Netflix, Iron Fist was first aired in 2017 to mixed reviews. The series focuses on billionaire Danny Rand, who returns to New York City after being missing for years, and attempts to reconnect with his past and family legacy. Using his kung-fu mastery and ability to summon his awesome super powers, he doubles as the fiery Iron Fist character, battling against the criminal element corrupting New York City. While season two was more of a big hit with fans, Netflix decided to cut the show after two seasons.
