Rock musician Kurt Cobain is probably most famous for his role in the band Nirvana. His daughter Frances Bean Cobain shied away from music, and instead pursued a career in visual arts. Although a successful musician, Kurt Cobain struggled with drug addiction and depression throughout much of his later life. He committed suicide in 1994 at the age of 27.

Peggy Lipton – Rashida Jones (30 Years Old)
You will probably recognize this duo, Peggy Lipton and her daughter Rashida Jones for their television fame. Lipton paved the way for her daughter with her acting and modeling success. Jones may not have made it as a model, but she has found her talent as a singer, producer, and actress on the hit television series Parks and Recreation. Together the mother-daughter starred in a 2015 Verizon commercial and on the television show Angie Tribeca.
