Aeo L-39 Albatros
When you think of warplanes, the L-39 Albatross is almost certainly the first that comes to mind. In Czechoslovakia, Aero Vedochody designed it as a training aircraft. It was the second generation’s first jet trainer, with an extremely streamlined design and flawless operation. This plane could fly for up to two and a half hours on internal fuel, which is rather astounding for a plane of this size.
Grumman OV-1 Mohawk
The Grumman OV-1 was brought in to replace the Cessna L-19 Bird Dog and served as an all-weather observation attack plane for the US Air Force. It was introduced because of its enhanced speed and power, and it even won an award for the Grumman Aircraft Corporation! In many military tasks, the plane was a huge success. It had bulletproof windows and a floor made of aluminum alloy, making it safe against small ground weapons.
