They held auditions across the country until they found the rightful winner of American Idol. The vast majority of the tens of millions of hopefuls will be disappointed. This isn’t to say that everything you see on the show is accurate. The application process is said to have been reversed by the producers. In order to be considered for a spot on the show, catfishers had to fill out an application.
