Given how fake WWE was, it’s only natural that a reality show based on the Bella Twins would be fake. The series featured Nikki and Brie’s partners, John Cena and Daniel Bryan. Many of the show’s scenarios were clearly staged for the cameras, and much of the drama between Nikki and John Cena was staged for the cameras.

WAGS quickly became one of E!’s most popular shows, following the lives and dramas of sports stars’ wives. The producers created drama between the women to keep the show interesting for viewers, and the show was heavily reliant on fake scenarios. Even though the marriage breakdowns were real, the women’s conversations and rivalry were all made up. Women who weren’t dating athletes were also added to the mix to add some variety.
