First or Last Name?
Do you ever wonder why the character Gilligan didn’t have a first name? We heard people calling him that name since the start of the show and it was only until Gilligan’s Island ended that we learned about his first name. Sherwood said, “Bob Denver thought that his first name was Gilligan. Although in the original presentation, he was really Willy Gilligan, but Bob insisted that his first name be Gilligan and would not discuss any of it anymore.”
