Christopher had been standing in his kitchen when the call ended. Much to his surprise, the lights began to flicker. He tried to control the panic blooming in his chest and started breathing rapidly. The flickering lights went on for a while until everything suddenly went dark.

A breeze suddenly hit his face! He still had his wits about him so he quickly retrieved the flashlight from his pocket, flicked it on, and directed it to his thermostat.
