Hitting Something Hard
He normally wouldn’t feel so surprised to run into a rock while digging, but he knew that his soy field had soft and moistened soil, so he shouldn’t feel any hard objects. James had no idea what this object could be, but he wanted to find out. He got out of the machine’s seat and went to check it out. Soon he started feeling around the object. It was hard and smooth, but there was no way it was a rock.

James kept clearing away with his hands until all of the dirt was cleared away. After cleaning the whole area, he saw that it was some sort of a bone! He had never seen anything quite like this before, and he was fascinated. At first, he thought that it could be a rib bone, however, he knew it was much too large to be from something that he had ever seen around here before.
