Jose’s homelessness status turned him into a sort of celebrity around Palma since people had gotten used to seeing this man around the area. The locals really liked him. In fact, they nicknamed him Josete.

Working Odd Jobs
Josete had been homeless ever since he was 30 years old. He survived by working odd jobs here and there, such as working as a parking attendant in Mallorca. Doing so allowed him to buy food to get by. Nonetheless, his living conditions were terrible.
