Especially the latter, which is generally regarded as the germiest component of hotel rooms. If wipes aren’t available, soap and warm water from the bathroom can suffice!

Walking about a new city is one of the greatest ways to get to know it, so why not do it in a secure area? Looking at internet sites such as TripAdvisor, Lonely Planet, or even the hotel’s reviews is an excellent method to learn about a hotel’s surrounding region. There’s also a lot to be said about trusting one’s instincts. If you don’t feel secure at a hotel, leave.
