Having scriptwriter Tony Kushner officiating the wedding back in 2013, Ferguson married Justin Mikita, a lawyer, and the two founded “Tie The Knot” – a non-profit organization who are raising funds in support of same-sex marriage by selling bow ties.

The actor, who is 47 years old, is dating pediatric nurse Lindsay Schweitzer at present and he gushed over her on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” back in September 2017.
“She calms me — she calms my nerves,” he said to DeGeneres. “I’m a very high-strung person.”
