When you choose to adopt an older dog, you deserve a medal. Sorry, we don’t make the rules. This pooch must have been older than 12 years old, but it did not matter to this guy. His new dog looks extremely happy to be adopted at long last. Good for him!

If you want our opinion, this is what we bet the pooch had in mind: “Ooh yes, right there. Keep scratching human, you’re doing great”. This was taken after he found out that he was going to be adopted. He doesn’t look like he has a problem with that at all.
