Ever individual doll had its own 6 book series attached that described the history of those children. These dolls were also considered to be rather expensive but began as $82 was just the start. Buying the doll was not enough when you needed to accessorize with pricey outfits that were sent to parents in the mail. These dolls now sell for hundreds.
