The two women did not seem like they would accept letting go of the situation – they were determined to see it through. They rudely explained to Madelyn that she had to pick one of two options. She could either put on a pair of shorts over her bikini bottoms or leave the park altogether. She was completely enraged by that point and said she wanted to talk to their supervisor.

“Well I am not covering up,” she said angrily. She went on, “And if you expect me to leave, you had better call the police and have them escort me out.” Aside from being totally embarrassed by the way they were treating her, she felt like she was standing up for so many other women who have been wronged in the same way.
