I Apologize
Tiger Woods was supposed to receive a top college golfer award at a Stanford dinner, but the golf legend didn’t go to the said event. We do not know his reason for skipping the event but he reportedly wrote 200 letters personally to apologize to the guests for his absence.

I Apologize
No, Thank You
In 2000, while he was in Thailand for a tournament, the Thais actually offered him citizenship. However, he turned the offer down very politely. Kultida “Tida,” Tiger’s mother, originally came from Thailand. She and Tiger’ father met each other in 1968 when he was on tour of duty. This means that they don’t hand out their citizenship to just anyone. Tiger Woods had a legitimate reason to be given such an honor.
