An Important Message
After the delivery, everyone in the story tried to go back to their normal lives. Allen returned home to recover and bought a new home with her husband. Her family was due to move into the new place when Allen received a text from her client. The message was accompanied by a picture of the babies and a message full of doubt. During her interview with the New York Post, Allen said that the mother said, “They are not the same, right?” and “Have you thought about why they are different?”

The week after that, the babies underwent a DNA test. The results surprised everyone who knew about the situation. It turns out that the babies were not twins. What do you know – one of the kids was the biological kid of Allen and her husband. The embryos did not share the same gestational age either. It was a phenomenon known as superfetation, which is when a pregnant woman still ovulates. Allen was able to conceive another baby when there was already an embryo inside of her. No one expected this.
