Del Wilkes is a former pro wrestler who used to go by the stage name The Patriot. Even though he only spent seven years in the industry, he was a huge hit among the fans! As you can imagine, the viewers cheered him on when he had to deal with anti-American wrestlers. He might be nearing his sixties now, but he still wrestles every now and then.

The Hitman might have launched his wrestling career in the early ‘70s, but he kept appearing in the ring until the turn of the millennium. Bret Hart was very popular. Even though he was not the most successful guy in WWE, he definitely had a big role in the popularity of the sport. He was usually spotted wearing metallic sunglasses that only made him look even more macho!
