As a little boy, Bruce was already fond of tinkering around with old things and junk materials to make new objects. Initially, he planned on using the land to create a home with the use of several freight vans. In the beginning, the plan sounded great to him and he was excited to work on it. However, his plans took an unexpected turn when he heard about someone else’s home.

About two decades after buying the land, Bruce Campbell heard about the story of the Mississippi local Joanne Ussery. The hairdresser bought her own Boeing 727 and converted the plane into her own home! Apparently, she used to live in a regular one until she lost it in a fire. She then chose to make a functional airplane home somewhere in the lakeside.
