Susan Olsen and Mike Lookinland used to have a fling when they were filming. A fling might be a bit of a stretch, however. Both actors indeed admitted they exchanged kisses a few times, though no one knew about it since it only happened inside the doghouse. They didn’t really want to be in trouble, though both actors were both 9 years old at that time. Yep, we would have to say that it must have only been puppy love in action.

Florence Henderson actually missed a lot of shoots for several episodes of the show’s first season. This is because Henderson had still been under contract for an off-Broadway play back then. The show kept filming without Mrs. Brady for the first few episodes. After her contract for the theater ended, Henderson immediately went on to film for the show to fill in her scenes.
