Many dogs lie on their sides during nap time, but they do not stay in this position for a long time since it means they will need a longer time to stand up and defend themselves in case there is trouble. A dog that sleeps like this has no troubles whatsoever. They obviously trust their owners!

The superman pose is probably the cutest pose ever. After dogs tire themselves out, they like to lie on their belly and spread out their limbs. This only happens if they are really exhausted. It is common for puppies to do this as the pose allows them to stand up really quickly.
