Belly Curls
While this pose is cute, it actually means that the dog is not having a good night’s rest. This is referred to as the “belly curl,” which is when your pooch sleeps on their belly and their paws are underneath them or out to the sides. They won’t reach REM as their muscles are tensed. Shy and gentle dogs often sleep like this.
