Tucking Their Tail
You may have noticed that dogs sometimes tuck their tails in between their legs. This is a sign of distress. Dogs do so if they are scared, guilty, ashamed, nervous, or uncertain. If you see your dog doing this, try to comfort them and make sure that they feel safe. Try petting them and talking to them in a soft voice. You can also try the doggie treat approach.

Raising Their Paws
A dog raises their paw to show that they need something from you or want to play with you. Most young dogs and pups display behavior like this. A pup that wants to eat often puts out their paws to their mother. If a puppy is doing the same to you, it means they want some affection and love!
