The Special Olympics
Though Nadia and Bart have stopped competing athletically, they are still very much a part of the Olympic Games. In fact, they are ambassadors for the Special Olympics, which means it is their job to trot around the globe, drumming up money and support for athletes and the Games themselves.

With the Special Olympics in mind, Nadia took part in the celebrity edition of Donald Trump’s The Apprentice. Even though she didn’t manage to raise the money she wished to for the Special Olympics, she had great things to say about her experience, “I had great fun. I only did it because it was all for charity.”
