Karen was persistent in walking to see her doctor, who happened to be two miles away. Thus, the doctor called her family and just asked, “Do you love Karen?” in order to try and get them to do something to help her. Richard ended up crying while he was on the phone. He said, of course he loved his sister. Her mother, meanwhile, blasted the doctor and said he was asking a very personal question.

Rushed To Hospital
Once he got the call, Karen got advised to go into hospital. Even though she did, it was not immediate. Later that month, an IV drip was connected to Karen, and she succeeded in regaining 30 pounds within just two months. In November, she left after she announced that she had been cured of the eating disorder. Even though no one agreed with the decision, Karen was intent on leaving the hospital.
