Karen may no longer be in this world, but the music and influence of the Carpenters have stood the test of time. The world still continues to be touched by the Carpenters.

His Own Solo
After his sister passed away, Richard Carpenter put his energy and time into creating various compilations of their music. In 1987, he released a solo album called Time, which included the likes of Dionne Warwick and Dusty Springfield.
