When New York session drummer Liberty Devitto was interviewed privately, he said something unique about the passion Karen had with regards to making beautiful music. During the recording of “Remember When Lovin’ Took All Night,” Karen recorded herself breathing quite heavily for background vocals. The singer was so involved that she hyperventilated and passed out!
