Many of the courses in the PGA Tour added yardage to lessen the obvious advantage of long hitters like Tiger Woods. This strategy was popularly called as “Tiger-Proofing.” However, Woods had no problem accepting the change and even said that the additional yardage to the courses would not affect his skills at winning the game.

Tiger Woods was raised in the Buddhist faith when he was a child and he carried the said religious practices even when he got into professional golf. He acknowledged that he “believes in Buddhism… Not every aspect, but most of it.” Tiger even blames his infidelity and deviations to the times when he lost his focus on his faith. He confessed, “Buddhism teaches me to stop following every impulse and to learn restraint. Obviously, I lost track of what I was taught.”
