Early Signs of Relationship Trouble
The first signs that the couple’s marriage was in trouble appeared in 2009 during Thanksgiving. Days before Thanksgiving, Elin saw an article online that claimed that Tiger cheated on her with Rachel Uchitel. The illicit affair was said to have happened during his trip to New York. Obviously, Tiger denied the allegations, but Elin couldn’t shake her doubts and decided to check his phone. There she discovered some critical evidence of his infidelity.

Now that she knew of her husband’s infidelity, Elin was in a rage and couldn’t control herself. Some reports even stated that she came at her husband with a golf club. It was a good thing that Tiger managed to get out of their house, run inside his car, and escape. Unfortunately, he had taken some sleeping pills which caused the car accident that he was involved in. He was found unconscious beside a fire hydrant. It was considered a miracle that he only got minor injuries from the said accident.
