History Taking Place
We all know how much people adore landmark signs. They’re such a big tourist attraction. We aren’t sure why, but people love reading about an event that took place 500 years ago right where they’re standing. Maybe it’s a way for people to feel like a part of history. Just imagine driving hundreds of miles only to get to your destination and see this sign. While it’s hilarious, we can’t imagine we’d be amused by it after a long and exhausting drive.

This is a rather charming way to ask people not to step on the grass. It’s a lot more likely people will listen to a sign like this than the classic ‘keep off the grass’ one. While it’s a little passive-aggressive, we think it works for the best in this case and makes it all that much better. What kind of monster would even consider stomping on the poor grass when they see this sign? No sane person, that’s for sure.
